I am Moira "Mo" Riccio, a Pilates instructor, Personal Trainer, and Coach at GETMOFIT.™ Whether you want to prevent an injury, recover from an injury, get strong, get healthy, move with more confidence, or live vibrantly to 100, my proven resistance training will get you there.
How did I get into Pilates coaching? Well, in 2006, already an avid runner and cyclist, I ran a marathon, and sustained a hip injury. While trying to recover from that, I threw my back out, so now I had debilitating hip AND back pain.
For the next two and a half years, I visited doctors, massage therapists, chiropractors, and acupuncturists, in an effort to eliminate the pain and heal the injuries. But nothing worked.
Finally, in 2008, I found Pilates and as a result, began to strengthen my core, focus on my posture, achieve better balance & flexibility, and feel stronger & more confident. I figured out how the body works and how important core conditioning is to functional health and functional living. And how we need to stay moving as we age. I also started learning about good nutrition, and began fueling my body with nutrient-rich food, giving me more energy, clarity, and resilience.
As someone who has experienced painful injuries and recovery, a poor diet and low energy, I want to share with you the specific things that will really work to transform your body and mind, the tips, tricks, and movements I have learned over the last 15 years to nourish your body, and improve your flexibility, alignment, longevity, and energy.

…and I usually end the day with a glass of Pinot Noir.

Originally from Boston, Moira is an avid runner & cyclist who turned to Pilates after an injury & transformed into a fitness coach with her own private reformer studio in Wenham, MA. She is passionate about sharing the extensive knowledge and results that she has achieved over the last 15 years - to save you time and frustration - and deliver a complete transformation in the way that you approach your wellness.
